Role overview
To function as a Logistics Coordinator for Calo Qatar Central Production Unit. Act as an operational connector between dispatch, drivers and customer food delivery. The successful candidate will make use of their technical and team leadership skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction through efficiency and strong adherence to safety & service protocols
Relationships & Working Expectations
- Provides support and training supervision to driver personnel deployed for delivery of meals
- Works closely with the Ops Management, Dispatch Leads, and Quality to align on service delivery, customers concerns or improvements in workflow
- Shift-based work, based in temperature-controlled environments, with mandatory personal protective equipment during all dispatch operation times
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the team in alignment with Calo’s culture and brand values through clear communication
- Organize and verify route orders before they leave the kitchen
- Ensure deliveries move out on time with no operational setbacks
- Handle real time communication with drivers, such as, last minute changes & delivery delays,
- Act as the central communication between CX team and drivers concerning any updates of customers delivery
- Maintain routine due diligence checks, adhering to HACCP standards along with sanitation and safety protocols
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a coordinator in high-volume delivery platforms (3 - 5 years minimum)
- Proficient with health and safety, HACCP standards (certification preferred)
Knowledge and competency
- Working knowledge of route mapping and planning,
- Use of computer and familiarity with excel & google sheets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with dynamic thinking
- Proficient in communication in English/Hindi/Urdu and leading a team
