Why this role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Marketing expert to lead our brand efforts in the foodtech space, and help build the Nike brand of health and well-being.

Scope of role (TL;DR version)

Content and Brand Building

You’ll be responsible for building the Calo brand even further through storytelling as a vehicle, and most importantly finding the right local tone of voice that would fit the market.

You’ll have to lead the team in setting the vision for the brand in the long run, and in developing the short-term plans to deliver on that vision.

Marketing and Community

You’ll own building the community around the Calo brand, from working with influencers that align with our brand mission, to finding and pushing behind the next big influencer in the space of health.

Your goal would be to also build on our existing offline brand presence, and find more opportunities where Calo can be present in physical spaces with customers.

Team & leadership

You’ll have an amazing team to work with, your role is to lead and guide on high-level strategic items, but also on the small things such as the quality of our content. 

You’ll be the go-to person for representing the marketing efforts in the UAE for the wider company, and the facilitator between cross-functional collaborations with your team members.

Who’s the right fit for us

  • At least 8 years of experience in the marketing and brand building space
  • At least 6 years of leadership experience in leading large multi-disciplinary teams
  • Exceptional understanding of brand building frameworks and how to build a following
  • Ambitious, driven, and holds incredibly high standards for what great brands should be
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in tech D2C start-ups is a must , food-tech would be a big plus
