Role Overview
At Calo, we believe every team member’s journey begins with a thoughtful and human-centered recruitment experience. We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our growth by owning and improving end-to-end recruitment processes.

This role sits within the Talent Acquisition team, part of the broader People & Culture function, and plays a key role in delivering a high-quality, empathetic, and brand-aligned hiring journey.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create job descriptions and interview questions tailored to specific role requirements
  • Source qualified candidates using online channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, and other relevant job boards), while maintaining a strong employer brand
  • Screen resumes and applications via our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Coordinate interviews, from scheduling to follow-up, across screening calls, assessments, and in-person or virtual interviews
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define role scopes
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Collect and share feedback from candidates to improve the recruitment experience
  • Build and nurture talent pipelines and long-term relationships with potential candidates
  • Proactively contribute ideas for improving talent acquisition processes and systems
  • Support broader People & Culture initiatives as needed

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (preferred)

Knowledge & Competency

  • Solid understanding of recruitment best practices and hiring processes
  • Familiarity with sourcing techniques, professional networks, and job platforms
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with hiring teams and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented and proactive with a mindset for continuous improvement
