Where this role fits in our mission 

We’re looking for a star player to join our marketing team to build, maintain, lead our growth efforts and localize the Calo brand experience through online and offline marketing channels, helping us stay fresh and competitive.

What you’ll be working on  

• Study design briefs, determine requirements and conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Creating images and layouts using design software
• Prepare rough drafts, present ideas, and test graphics across digital mockups of various media
• Ensure consistency of our brand guidelines across all printed and digital media. 
• Work with the marketing team to produce the final design
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Amend designs after feedback
• Communicate closely with printers and sourcing printed collaterals for designs and packaging.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas 
• Produce valuable and engaging content for our social media that attracts and converts our target groups.

Ideal candidate

• Strong knowledge of the Bahraini and GCC market
• Well-organized, detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics
• Exceptional communication and writing skills
• Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Expert in adobe suite design soft wares (adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Great copywriting, grammar, and spelling skills
• Knowledge in animation is a plus (adobe after effects or adobe premier) 
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Organized, creative, and flexible
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
