Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced multi-technician who will be responsible for managing and overseeing repairs in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repairs and experience in managing a team. The Maintenance Supervisor will also be responsible for optimizing the facility's functionality, comfort, and efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for all maintenance requests
- Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work accordingly.
- Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
- Participate in the coordination of projects (e.g. renovations).
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Has a solid understanding of spare parts and their supplier.
- Work closely with Operations, Automation, and Supply chain teams to enable fast execution of assets/ spare parts procurement decisions.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Supervise the projects and all maintenance activities.
- Plan and track the preventive maintenance schedule.
- Knowledge of machine life and when to replace machinery.
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
- Must have had at least 3 years of experience as a kitchen technician or similar position.
- Must be currently residing in Dubai.
Knowledge and competency
- Familiar with plumbing concepts.
- Focuses on increasing productivity through introducing smart equipment to decrease manual work.
- Experience with maintaining electrical concepts such as wiring, cables, breakers, and walk-in chillers.
- Solid HVAC, civil, mechanical, and electrical working knowledge.
Personality
- A knack for negotiation and networking.
- Ability to gather and analyze data.
- Solid judgment along with decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Leadership and teamwork skills.
